The Association of Caribbean States celebrated its 30th anniversary with a significant event held at the Renaissance at Shorelands in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on August 16th. The gathering marked three decades since the signing of the ACS Convention in Cartagena de Indias on July 24, 1994, and reflects on the organization’s journey towards fostering cooperation, consultation and concerted action to promote sustainable development in the Greater Caribbean region.
